Christmas Wassail

Now here's a simple recipe for a classic holiday drink. Not only does it make a warm, toasty drink, but it will make your house smell amazing!

1 gallon Apple Cider
2 cups Cranberry Juice
1/2 cup Honey
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Orange
1 Apple (peeled and diced)Ground Cloves
Allspice (ground)
Ginger
Nutmeg
4 Cinnamon Sticks

Make sure you do this in a decent sized crockpot! Turn crockpot on a low setting, then add the cider, cranberry juice, honey, and sugar, and stir to let honey and sugar dissolve. Then, cut an orange (don't peel) into slices and place inside the pot (slices will float). Then add the ground cloves, just about a pinch. Add in the diced apple. Then add in spices; about 2 tablespoons each (however much you prefer). Then, crack the cinnamon sticks in half and throw in the pot. Stir together every once in a while and let it sit and simmer for about 2-4 hours. Then sip and enjoy:)
